Daniel Malec serves as Restorative Schools Program Manager at Georgia Conflict Center in Athens, Georgia. Daniel has a Master of Arts in Conflict Transformation from the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding at Eastern Mennonite University. Daniel has worked since 2017 as a Restorative Practices consultant, primarily assisting the Clarke County School District and individual Clarke County Schools with Restorative Practices implementation. Prior to moving to Athens, Daniel served for 4 years as Assistant Principal of Restorative Practices at E.L. Haynes Public Charter High School in Washington, D.C (2012-2016). He has worked for 20+ years in the areas of youth development, youth violence prevention and intervention, conflict transformation, restorative justice and school administration.
