James B. “Jim” Cronon is a 2008 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law. During his tenure at UGA, he served on the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law and the Southern Regional BLSA Law Journal. He was an active member of the Student Bar Association, BLSA, and the Christian Legal Society.
Upon passing the Bar, he opened his own firm, and has been serving clients throughout the state of Georgia ever since. The Law Office of James B. Cronon is a general practice firm, helping clients with criminal defense, bankruptcy, juvenile dependency, juvenile delinquency, adoption, separation and divorce, and probate matters. He is the longest serving parents’ attorney for Athens-Clarke County Juvenile Court.
Mr. Cronon has been a resident of the Athens-Clarke community for over twenty years. He is married to a local educator and has two grown children. He currently serves as an adjunct professor of paralegal studies at Athens Technical College, where he has taught courses in civil litigation, criminal law, contracts, torts, and bankruptcy. He serves on the deacon board of his church, New Covenant Worship Center. He knows far too much about comic books for a man his age and refuses to be ashamed of that fact.
